Credits
What 2,000 credits a month buys.
A credit is one summary. Summate spends them as it reads what's new from your sources, and refills them on the 1st of every month.
- You only pay for summaries that work. If a video has no transcript or a feed is down, the credit goes back.
- Credits refill, they don't pile up. On the 1st of each month you're back at 2,000, whatever you used.
- Nothing is charged extra, ever. If a brief needs more credits than you have left, it's skipped and we email you, so there are no surprise bills. Credits refill on the 1st.

Is there a free plan?
No. Summate is one paid plan, and the yearly option starts with 14 days free so you can try everything first.
Do I need a card for the trial?
Yes, a card, so your briefs keep coming when the trial ends. Nothing is charged during the trial, and we email you two days before it ends.
How many sources can I follow?
As many as you like, in as many briefs as you like. The only limit is credits, and 2,000 a month covers a dozen newsletters a day plus a couple of videos daily.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. On the 1st of each month your balance goes back to 2,000, however many you used.
What happens if I run out of credits?
A brief that needs more credits than you have left is skipped, and we email you. You're never charged extra. Credits refill on the 1st. If you regularly need more, write to us.
How do I cancel?
Settings, then Manage subscription. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for, and you can come back anytime.
Tomorrow at 7:00,your first brief.
